Our Story

We built our barn in 2002 to house our Show Horses for our three daughters. Today, it remains a genuine horse barn, home to two retired World Champions, who sometimes roam the pasture.

Our barn first served as the venue for our oldest daughter's wedding in 2017. She wanted to celebrate her special day in the place she grew up. After exploring other venues, we realized we could create the dream wedding she envisioned right in our own backyard. During the celebration, guests encouraged us to consider transforming the barn into a wedding venue, praising the unique charm of the space.

By the end of 2017, we began booking dates for the 2018 wedding season. Our first Big Barn Venue wedding was a success, leading to more bookings throughout the year. In 2023, we were thrilled to help our youngest daughter have her own dream wedding.

Brides, grooms, and their families have truly appreciated the picturesque country scenery and ample space for both ceremonies and receptions. Photographers and videographers love the expansive 200 acres, capturing stunning images among the corn or beans, depending on the season. Please note that our barn does not have heating or air conditioning, so we can only accommodate events from June to October.
